The Thaxton Family | Christmas At Home | Birmingham, Alabama

This December, I’ve had the joy of photographing families in their homes as they partake in their favorite holiday traditions! Witnessing how each family celebrates has been such a joy! I’ve been told stories about sentimental Christmas tree ornaments, and stories of how a family menorah has been passed down from grandparents.

For the Thaxton family, one of their favorite traditions is baking cookies from a family recipe. It’s something they do every year, and this year, the I got to photograph their morning of baking!
