Baby Nolan | Birmingham Newborn Photographer

Hi friends! I’m officially getting back into the swing of blogging with one of my first photography sessions of 2021! Today, we have a newborn photography session in Birmingham with Baby Nolan and his parents Kelsea and Rob. They graciously invited me into their home on a very cold, very cloudy January morning. While the weather may not have been very cheery, the love and joy surrounding this sweet family more than made up for it! 

Nolan is Kelsea and Rob’s firstborn. We spent all of our time taking photos of the three of them cuddling up together and hanging out around their house – in Nolan’s nursery, on the couch, by the big windows all over their cute bungalow. Newborn photography with a firstborn is especially sweet because of the extra cuddles and attention that little one gets. But most of all, because of the looks of awe and wonder all over the parents’ faces. The way first time parents look at their baby is something I don’t think I’ll ever get over!   

One of the sweetest parts? Kelsea and Rob sent me one of Nolan’s birth announcements with photos from our session on it. I was a puddle! Spending quality time photographing a family during such a special time in their lives is already an honor. Being added to the list of friends and family who receive an announcement feels extra special.
