Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session | Mary Leigh & Jarrett

Get ready, friends. This is a sweet one! This weekend, Mary Leigh and Jarrett will be getting married at Thomas Jefferson Tower. It’s only fitting to share photos from their Downtown Birmingham engagement session last summer. We spent time on the Richard Arrington bridge, and also spent a little time at Jemison Park for a more natural setting, and to provide variety in their photos!

Mary Leigh and Jarrett met at the University of Alabama, where they were in the same graduate program. As part of their studies, they spent time abroad in India, where they truly connected and hit it off! I asked Mary Leigh about their first date, and she said it was sitting together on one of their long flights, enjoying dinner and a movie together. She shared that Jarrett is everything she could have asked for in a husband. Even from spending just a couple of hours together at their engagement session, their love for each other was so rich and evident to me!
