Over the years, I’ve found something to be true: a Thomas Jefferson Tower wedding will always be timeless and elegant. Mary Leigh and Jarrett’s wedding fit this description to a t! Their friends and family gathered from all over the country to celebrate their first moments as husband and wife, and the historic building was a beautiful place to celebrate!
Mary Leigh and Jarrett’s wedding day held countless moments that emphasized just how much they’re loved and cared for. I lost count of how many times Mary Leigh’s bridesmaids came through to help – from a last-minute dress steaming, to volunteering to take care of something so Mary Leigh wouldn’t have to, to being perpetual hype-girls – they’re the friends any bride would want in her corner on her wedding day. Mary Leigh’s dad officiated the wedding! It was sweet to see him walk Mary Leigh down the aisle, then step right into his place as officiant. The ceremony was full of heartfelt words that only a father of the bride could offer, and he even brought their family members to the altar for prayer before the ceremony ended.
