Classic Wedding at The Florentine

If there was ever a couple with sophisticated taste, it’s Anna and Stephen! Their elegant summer wedding at The Florentine in Birmingham was all things timeless. Anna shared that she didn’t want to look at her wedding photos in the years to come and be distracted by dated trends. I think she achieved her goal, don’t you?

Before their wedding, Anna and Stephen expressed that the things they were looking forward to the most were the quiet moments they’d get to share throughout the day, and spending the evening celebrating with their friends and family on the dance floor! It was beautiful to witness and document both the quiet and celebratory moments. A wedding day is an entire range of emotions and experiences, and goodness, what a joy to have photos of them all!

Every part of the day felt filled with intention. The morning was spent with Anna and her bridesmaids as they got ready, followed by a first look and portraits on the quad at Samford. Their wedding ceremony was a beautiful time of worship, and of course, we ate cake and danced the night away at The Florentine.

Anna recently shared wise words about her wedding and marriage. She expressed that her wedding day was beautiful, but marriage every day is better. That’s what’s truly important, isn’t it? A marriage more beautiful than your wedding.
