Oak Mountain State Park Engagement Session

Happy wedding week to Hannah and Jesse! I’ve been looking forward to their wedding at Swann Lake Stables all year, and I’m excited to spend this weekend celebrating with them! Before we get to the wedding festivities, let’s take a look back at photos from their Oak Mountain engagement session, shall we?

One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is getting to know each couple I work with. It’s fun to hear their story – how they met, their first impressions of each other, how they got engaged. It’s also fun to learn about each couple’s unique personalities, and how they spend their time together. Hannah and Jesse have been a joy to get to know! They love spending time together doing outdoor activities, and Oak Mountain State Park is a spot they frequent. We jumped at the opportunity to plan their engagement session in a place they spend a lot of time together!

We started their session at the marina taking photos on the dock, and finished with driving up to one of Oak Mountain’s scenic overlooks for photos at sunset. From start to finish, Hannah and Jesse were affectionate and kind toward each other, and truly enjoyed each others’ company – all qualities that made them so easy to photograph!
