Ally and Ryan’s elegant Country Club of Birmingham Wedding this past May was a highlight of the spring! Ally and Ryan have been together since middle school. They met for the first time as teenagers in class, developed crushes, and the rest is history. After many years together, they wed in a place they’ve spent a lot of time together over the years — The Country Club of Birmingham. Their venue was filled with countless photogenic corners, and Ally and I even visited a few weeks before the wedding to pick out locations for photos on the grounds.
They had a traditional Jewish wedding, complete with a private signing of their ketubah before the larger wedding ceremony, exchanging vows under a beautiful chuppah, the bride “circling” the groom seven times, and the breaking of the glass. The reception that followed was a total party, but we managed to sneak away for a few minutes for a few more portraits at dusk (some of my favorites from the day!)
