A Canterbury United Methodist Church Wedding, a reception at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens, getting ready at The Tutwiler Hotel… Jessica and Wills’ wedding was quintessentially Birmingham. Jessica and Wills met through mutual friends in Nashville, but returned to Jessica’s home city for their wedding weekend. When asked what she was most looking forward to about the wedding, Jessica answered, “getting together with all of their friends and family”. It’s one of the most beautiful things about a wedding day — a couple’s friends and family are all in the same place at the same time, and it’s usually one of the only times it’s likely to happen! To see couples soak in that experience is so special. Jessica and Wills’ wedding day felt full of camaraderie, but also special touches. Jessica wore her mom’s veil, their invitation suite included illustrations of their dogs, and the wedding itself was held in a special place to Jessica – the church where she grew up.
