Fountainview Mansion Wedding

Madison and William’s Fountainview Mansion wedding in Auburn provided the perfect setting for celebrating their marriage. The two met as college students at Auburn, and they planned a weekend of celebrations that brought all of their friends and family back to the place they fell in love. It felt like a reunion of friends in a town that held special meaning to everyone! 

No wedding is short of sentimental moments, and Madison and William’s held plenty. I’ve never seen a dress reveal like Madison’s. Both her bridesmaids and her dad cried happy tears, gasped, and stared in awe the moment each saw her! She looked beautiful in her dress, and the reactions were one of my favorite parts of the day. The church where they got married is right across the street from Hamilton’s, the restaurant where Madison and William had their first date. If you look closely, you’ll see the restaurant sign makes an appearance in a few photos!

Madison and William chose to wait to see each other at the ceremony, which meant a perfect in-the-moment reaction from William, and even sweeter moments spent together right after they walked outside of the church. One of their favorite local bands, Trotline, provided the entertainment for the evening. And perhaps one of the most fun parts of the wedding – Madison’s dog Lucy was present throughout the whole day. She trotted around as the girls got ready, took photos with Madison and William in front of the mansion, and even found herself being held on the dance floor before the night was over!

During couple portraits, I asked William if he remembered his first impression of Madison. He got the biggest smile, and exclaimed, “the first time I saw her, Madison just shined”. He went on to describe how drawn to her he was, how much he loves her, and how grateful he is to spend the rest of his life with her. Celebrating a couple with such evident love for each other is a privilege, and I’m grateful to have documented the day!
