All Saints Episcopal Church and Birmingham Museum of Art Wedding

Abby and Sam describe their style as “vintage yet colorful”. They’re lovers of art, history, and tradition, so All Saints Episcopal Church (the church Abby grew up in, and a very special place to her) and the Birmingham Museum of Art were an excellent reflection of their style for their wedding.

If you’ve been reading the blog a while, you know I’m a sucker for thoughtful details. Abby and Sam’s wedding was full of them! Abby’s sister designed the invitation suite. Touches of lavender ran all throughout the wedding — from the invitations, to Abby’s shoes, to the bridesmaid dresses and ribbons on floral arrangements. Even Abby’s reception dress had a beautiful light purple hue to it!

Abby and Sam met as students at Auburn, and spent five years together finishing school and grad school, before getting married. Their love for each other is without a doubt a reflection of how well they’re loved by their family and friends. It was a treat to see them interact with all of the people they’re close to, and some of my favorite photos from their wedding are of those moments! (Don’t miss the black and white photo of Abby and Sam’s mothers walking down the church hallway, arm-in-arm, before the ceremony!)
