Morgan and Garrick’s summery Colonnade House wedding in Columbus, Mississippi was a feast for the eyes! Bright pinks, greens, and oranges, and thoughtful design choices highlighted the beauty of the historic property. It was a hot summer evening, but despite the temperature, the celebration lasted long into the night.
Morgan and Garrick met through volunteering together through Rotoract Club. They made a quick connection, got to know each other at several events, and the rest is history. Their wedding ceremony was at Morgan’s childhood church – a beautiful, historic Methodist church in downtown Columbus. Their minister concluded their traditional ceremony by singing the Lord’s prayer over them. Guests then traveled to The Colonnade House where they found something beautiful in every space to enjoy — whimsical floral designs in bright pinks and greens greeted them on the front porch, and continued throughout the rest of the house and yard. A beautiful wedding cake was displayed in the front room, and guests found plenty of cozy corners to sit and visit with each other. A grand tent in the back yard held of food and a black and white checkered dance floor.
