Valerie and John Scott married in Gainesville, Florida. They held their ceremony at a small, historic church, followed by a tented wedding reception on Valerie’s sister’s farmland. Think of spacious fields, open skies, and a beautiful sailcloth tent right in the middle of it all, and you’ve got the perfect mental picture of their wedding.
It was a day full of sentimental touches, an abundance of tributes to family legacies, and the honoring of their family and friends. Valerie’s bridal bouquet had a cascading trail of ivy, just like her mother’s bouquet from her own wedding. A few subtle shamrocks were sprinkled throughout the day as a nod St. Patrick’s Day, the day Valerie and John Scott met. And the wedding guest list was small, allowing for quality of time between the bride and groom and each of their guests.
Enjoy photos from Valerie and John Scott’s Gainesville, Florida tented wedding, and If you know anyone looking for a wedding photographer, send them my way! I’d love to provide them with an effortless photography experience and a beautiful collection of timeless film and digital photos.
