SHOPPE Birmingham Engagement

It’s wedding week for Anna and Jackson! This morning, you’ll find me at my desk hitting pause on my Monday morning to-dos in favor of reminiscing over their SHOPPE Birmingham (and next door General Store) engagement session. The night before their session was a rare night of snow for Alabama! It was one of the coldest weeks of winter, so we stayed inside and found as many warm corners for photos as possible. Look closely — you may see the lingering dustings of snow in some of their outdoor photos!

Anna and Jackson met in college at Wake Forest. I asked Jackson if he can remember his first impressions of Anna, and he shared that their very first interaction was over email! Jackson was an incoming freshman, and Anna, a current student, was sending welcome emails to new students. They eventually met on campus, and the rest is history.
