Intimate Backyard Wedding in Birmingham, AL

On a warm spring day in May, Abby and Josh got married in their family friends’ backyard. They were by a lake, under the shadows of tall pine trees, and surrounded by their family and friends. It was absolutely perfect. Their intimate backyard wedding was full of personal touches — invitations designed buy the bride herself, florals designed by the bride’s sister, a wedding cake baked by a friend. The day was completely focused on the beauty of starting a marriage. It felt full of love, warmth, and support, and I still feel a little giddy whenever I think about how full of joy Abby and Josh were throughout the day!
