Downtown Birmingham Engagement Session

Happy Wedding Week to Liz & Paul! Earlier this year, their downtown Birmingham engagement session provided the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other, and for Liz and Paul to get used to taking photos. Wedding days often feel like a blur — a blur of joy, love, friends, family, and of course giving your wholehearted “yes” to life with your person. Engagement sessions are a little different. They’re slower, with no “next thing” to move on to. They’re more than enough time to savor the simple joy of being present with the person you love the most. They’re so special!

Liz and Paul grew up in neighboring Birmingham suburbs and are both Auburn grads, but didn’t cross paths until their post-grad lives in Atlanta. They were introduced by mutual friends, and the rest is history! Since they’ll be getting married in Birmingham, they chose to take engagement photos in a couple of quintessential downtown locations: Morris Avenue and the Federal Building.
