Colorful Pike Road Private Estate Wedding

Few wedding days are so consciously centered around a specific place in the way Lexie and Travis’s was. Their private estate wedding in Pike Road was on Lexie’s family’s land. It was quite possibly the only wedding that’s ever occurred in that exact spot, and quite possibly the only one that ever will.  

As if she was living a dream, Lexie woke up on her wedding day, looked out her bedroom window, and there was her reception tent and ceremony site, waiting for the day’s celebrations. She got ready downstairs with her bridesmaids while Travis spent time with his groomsmen in the loft above the garage. The two reunited for their first look beside the house as their mothers watched and the family dogs roamed around. Photos with friends and family continued around the property before guests arrived for a golden hour ceremony. Afterwards, a sperry tent awaited, full of colorful streamers, bold florals, and spunky party details that ensured a night full of spirited celebration. Guests partied the night away under the light of a full moon, and as the party came to an end, a helicopter landed next to the tent to pick up Lexie and Travis and whisk them away to their honeymoon.

In the most simple of terms, it was incredibly special. I’ve never photographed a wedding quite as colorful or full of unique touches as theirs.
