Lesley | Cheaha State Park Wedding Photography

One night at a friend’s house, Lesley pulled me aside and told me she was about to get engaged. Deep feeler that I am, I immediately burst into tears of joy, and after pulling myself together, she proposed this grand idea of taking bridal portraits on top of a mountain. We didn’t know when, where or how the plan would unfold, but we were determined to make it happen.

Lesley grew up in Colorado, and has a deep love for mountains. While the foothills of the Appalachians are slightly different from The Rockies, they have a beauty and majesty of their own, and they provided the rocky landscapes and sweeping views we craved for her photos. The combination of gorgeous scenery and Lesley’s all-in adventurous attitude made it one of the most relaxed, ideas-spilling-forth sessions I’ve had. These photos are some of my favorites to date!
