Shoppe Birmingham Engagement Session

Happy wedding week to Jordan and Ari! 

Earlier this summer, we got together for an engagement session at two of Jordan and Ari’s favorite local spots – General, a cafe and general store, and SHOPPE, the most beautiful garden shop and greenhouse in all of Birmingham! It was a rainy afternoon, and we embraced the weather, wandering around with umbrellas in hand. 

Engagement sessions are the most wonderful opportunity to get to know a couple before we spend their wedding day together. At an engagement session, we learn how to communicate with each other in all things photography, but most importantly, I have the joy of observing how a couple interacts! Jordan and Ari are so kind to one another, affectionate, and truly content in each others’ presence. 

They also have an eye for beauty! They had such creative ideas about where at General and SHOPPE they wanted to take pictures, and bouncing ideas off of each other was such a fun part of our session! I’m looking forward to their wedding, and can’t wait to share photos from their day!
